  4.  WHAT DOES A SCOTSMAN WEAR UNDER HIS KILT?

  6.  'Tis a moot point, since all Scotsmen are different,
  7. and who cares, anyway?  Remember, we are here to discuss
  8. emigration, not indulge in pointless speculation.
  9. Actually, it's pretty tough to find anything attractive
  10. about Scotland as an emigration target unless you happen
  11. to be a manufacturer of insulated raingear, or golf clubs.
  12. Despite contentions to the contrary by the Dutch, golf
  13. almost certainly originated in Scotland.  There are areas
  14. of the countryside that consist of nothing but enormous
  15. sand traps spaced out among water hazards with heavy rough
  16. in between.  Being a frugal society, the Scots are likely
  17. to populate their "real" golf courses with sheep, which
  18. not only mow the grass, but also provide clothing and
  19. sustenance for the golfers.  Of course if your first drive
  20. off the tee ends up in a sheep, it can really slow down your
  21. game.  So take it from us - emigrate to Australia instead.
